Jennifer Bell-Ellwanger is the new president & CEO of the Data Quality Campaign. Bell-Ellwanger previously served at the U.S. Department of Education as Director of the Policy and Program Studies Service and Acting Assistant Secretary of Planning, Evaluation, and Policy Development. Bell-Ellwanger’s selection follows founding President and CEO Aimee Rogstad Guidera’s decision to step down after 13 successful years at DQC’s helm.
After five years at the Data Quality Campaign, Dakarai Aarons is joining the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to work on communications efforts across their education portfolio.
Jen Alexander recently transitioned out of her role as executive director of ConnCAN after eight years with the organization. ConnCAN joined the 50CAN network, and will be led by interim executive director Marc Porter Magee. More details about the history of ConnCAN are available online.
The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) has named Carissa Moffat Miller as its next executive director. Before serving as CCSSO’s interim executive director, Miller was the organization’s deputy executive director of membership and outreach.
