Ashley has devoted her career to storytelling, first through journalism, then in the classroom and a state education agency. Prior to joining PIE Network, Ashley led communications efforts for the Tennessee Department of Education, working on everything from strategy, media relations, crisis communications, social media, and internal communications. Before joining state government, Ashley spent three years in the classroom, teaching high school English in St. Louis, Missouri and fifth-grade writing in Nashville, Tennessee. She began her career as a television reporter for the CBS affiliate in Columbus, Georgia.

I'm wrangling a toddler, enjoying time with my husband, rescuing old furniture (preferably found on the side of the road), and taking pictures.
