Chandani's passion for events planning and building relationships was fostered through her time as a student at the University of Michigan. There she planned events for the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Symposium; Yoni Ki Baat, a women of color social justice organization; and facilitated dialogues for the Program on Intergroup Relations Education. Prior to joining the PIE Network, Chandani worked in student affairs at the University of Michigan. She managed programs and supervised student staff to support first-generation, low-income, and students of color through tutoring, coaching, and community-building events.
Chandani uses she/her pronouns; Chandani is pronounced "Chaan-dha-nee".
