A new set of resources from America Succeeds emphasizes the importance of social-emotional learning (SEL) for all education stakeholders, including students, teachers, administrators—and businesses.
According to America Succeeds, SEL can help address the skills gaps that are contributing to a growing talent shortage, a top concern for employers. In particular, “soft skills such as communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking” will prepare students to navigate a quickly evolving workforce.
