For over 20 years, Jen has worked at the national, state, and local level to bridge gaps between education policy, politics, and practice to make sure that all children get a great public education regardless of race, zip code or family income. Before joining PIE Network, Jen served as the CEO of the Connecticut Coalition for Achievement Now, a pacesetting model of effective state-level education advocacy. For years, Jen was an active member of the PIE Network and draws on lessons she learned on the ground to build the strength, connectivity, and impact of the Network. Jen is a graduate of George Peabody College at Vanderbilt University and holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University. She serves on the Board of Directors of her local community foundation and of Achievement First Amistad Academy. Jen is a mom to two wonderful kids and one goofy puppy, and a proud Connecticut native. If she ever has spare time, you might catch her running, gardening, or enjoying her local sun, sand, and sea.
As the Network’s Executive Director, I lead our work to connect and support people, organizations and ideas.
Connecting with Network leaders, partnering with the Network, state education advocacy, education policy, and being a working mom!
