PIE Network is designed by and for education advocates.
Members of the PIE Network are united by a belief that education can—and should—be transformative. PIE Network members put these beliefs into action by listening to, engaging, and authentically elevating the leadership of students, families, and educators, using data and evidence to drive innovation, improvement, and quality, and changing systems so that that policy, funding, and education designs adapt to best support student needs and outcomes.
All PIE Network members demonstrate a commitment to upholding and advancing advocacy that includes but is not limited to driving improvements on four policy pillars: High Expectations, Great Educators, Innovative Options, and Responsive Systems.
The Network has welcomed 20 organizations in 2022. While these leaders and organizations are new to PIE Network, they bring years of advocacy experience and insight. These teams bring rich and diverse expertise in engaging parents and educators in advocacy and policymaking, building partnerships with state policymakers, and supporting charter schools. PIE Network’s Board of Directors and Membership Committee review membership applications quarterly.
